PILOT EPISODE OF THE MARKY MONDAY SHOW

Picture the family values and teachings of Mr. Rogers, combined with high energy rock music, and you’ve got Marky Monday! Caring inquisitive role model in the real world, rock star in the dream world, Marky Monday shifts between realities on musical adventures to explore some of the most fundamental life lessons.

Every episode opens with Marky in the real world playing a musical instrument (drums, guitar, piano, mandolin) while noticing the viewer and talking directly to the camera about what is on his mind, which establishes the theme of the show. A problem or question is established, and in order to figure out the answer, Marky needs to put on his “thinking cap” (the Marky Monday signature hat) and with the help of the viewer, says the magic words “Austa Luigi” (Marky’s catch phrase) to enter into the dream world. The scene transforms into a vibrant and colourful magical dream world where normal Mark becomes super rock star Marky Monday! We are now taken on a wonderful music filled adventure where stuffed animals come to life, questions are answered, and singing, dancing, learning and having fun take place. At the end of the show we find Marky back at his home where he recaps the adventure and how much fun we had together. We finish with a prize giveaway to anyone who can answer the question of the day.
